Privacy Policy

Your photos are personal. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, who helps us process it and how you stay in control.

Who we are

SeeWear is a virtual try-on app operated by [Company legal name], [Registered address, City, Country] ("SeeWear", "we", "us"). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

If you have any question about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].

What we collect

We only collect what we need to run SeeWear:

  • Account data — your name, email address and a securely hashed password.
  • Your photos — the photos of yourself you upload to My Photos (up to the limit of your plan).
  • Clothing images — photos you take or upload, and images we download from links you paste (for example a product page or an image address).
  • Try-on results and looks — the images we generate for you, the names, tags and favorites you add.
  • Usage data — how many try-ons you used this month and basic technical logs needed to keep the service working and secure.
  • Device data — a push notification identifier, if you allow notifications.

On our website we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. If you join the waitlist, we store your email address.

How we use your data

  • To generate virtual try-ons: your photo and the clothing image are sent to our AI try-on provider, which returns the generated image.
  • To recognize clothing: clothing images are analyzed by an AI model to suggest a name, category, color and tags.
  • To run your account: sign-in, password reset, email verification and your monthly try-on limit.
  • To send you notifications you can control: when your try-on is ready, and occasional reminders (you can turn reminders off in Edit Profile).
  • To keep SeeWear safe and fix problems.

We do not sell your personal data, we do not show you third-party ads, and we do not use your photos to train our own AI models.

Service providers we use

We share data only with providers that help us run SeeWear, and only what they need:

  • FASHN AI — generates the virtual try-on images (receives your photo and the clothing image).
  • OpenAI — analyzes clothing images to fill in item details (receives the clothing image).
  • OneSignal — delivers push notifications (receives a device identifier).
  • Mailtrap — delivers our emails (receives your email address and the email content).
  • Google Analytics — website analytics (website visitors only).
  • Our hosting provider — stores the app data and files.

Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep your data

  • Your account data, photos, wardrobe, looks and try-on results are kept while your account is active.
  • Clothing items added only for a try-on and never saved are deleted automatically after about one day.
  • When you delete your account, we delete your account and all your photos, clothing images, looks and try-on results right away.
  • We may keep limited records longer when the law requires it (for example invoices once paid plans are available).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Edit Profile → Delete account) or by following the steps on our Delete account page.

To exercise any other right, email [email protected] from the address linked to your account. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Photos of other people

Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has clearly agreed to it. Do not upload photos of children. We may remove content that breaks this rule.

Children

SeeWear is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Your photos and files are private to your account and are only served to you after you sign in. Passwords are stored hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data and fix issues quickly.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email.
